"Creativity is intelligence having fun" (Albert Einstein) I have a concept that without creativity, there will be no progress. After all, it took the first caveman to be creative to create the wheel! And without original thinking, how can we have these magnificent cities that we have today, the amazing technology that shrinks the world and medicine that saves lives. I am sharing two free resources on Creativity. 1. A short podcast (less than 10 mins) on creativity where I explore an ancient story, interpret some of the science behind that story and leave with you a few practical tips that I have taken away on how can I can introduce more creativity into my life. You will also find a file below that includes the transcript as well as some further reading and references. 2. I talk to a panel of amazingly talented coaches, trainers and artists (Aga Laherto, Namita Singh and Virginie Pithon) to delve into creativity. We talk about why is creativity important, how we can engage with this side of our mind and a few practical tips and some reading suggestions to enable your brain to light up and have fun! I hope you find them both enjoyable

A recording of my talk at the ABS summit in Sep 2021 for the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science. The topic is mindfulness - the science behind the spirituality and I am talking about stories, starting from Gautama Buddha's time to now and the science, starting from our hunter-gatherer ancestors to now. Shared with permission from ISABS. You can get a copy of the conference papers in this book: Emergence: Sculpting New Thinking (notionpress.com) "Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself" (Rumi) Discovering mindfulness and being present in the moment is the greatest gift that we can give ourselves and others. Watch this vidcast with some senior business leaders and coaches to get different perspectives on the stories, the science and some practical suggestions on how to weave more mindfulness into your lives. |
