Ideaspark on Regenerative Leadership

"We are what we repeatedly do!" (Aristotle)

This quote attributed to Aristotle reminds me that we are what we do and it is insufficient for us to talk about leadership, environment, sustainability without taking the right actions to support and role model. Giles Hutchins and Laura Storm talk about the rising separation of humans and nature that precipitated where we are today in their book on Regenerative Leadership (2019). They argue about the need for both outer and inner sustainability in order to remove this gap, reconnect and heal. I had the privilege of having a scintillating conversation with Adam Daniel and Johan Frederik Banzhaf about this topic, particularly the inner connection. As leaders, if we understand the need for us to heal, rejuvenate and reconnect, we can lead the system to do the same. And what does a pendulum got to do with this?
